Weiner Residence

Medicine Wheel, LLC was asked to oversee the renovation of this existing home on Cougar Point Golf Course. The addition of a swimming pool and associated decking system along with a new front porch and stairway necessitated a new design for the landscape.

The addition of a native plant palette, evergreen foundation shrubbery, and large sweeping masses of sweetgrass soften the property and help to create an environment that blends with the context of surrounding landscapes, but brings focus and accent to the subject property. Two 40’ Crepe Myrtles were relocated to more dramatic locations within the property and they help to bring balance and scale to the residence.
